Kris Mueller, Director of Development & Business Services Contact Information: 1112 26th Street South Birmingham, AL35205 205-939-0085 Kris Mueller (October, 2008): Kris has worked in the non-profit sector for many years, having most recently served as Executive Director of the Literacy Council of Kingsport, Tennessee. She has also worked in fund development for United Way and Girl Scouts and in marketing and public relations for a health care system, a physicians' association and an art museum. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and began her career as a newspaper reporter. She and her husband, Nick, have two children: Megan, who is 25 and lives in Charlotte, NC, and Nick, who is a 20-year-old college student.
