FAITH AND AGING

Episcopal Place was founded in 1979 by the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.  We recognize the importance of faith in many of our residents and their families. 

 

Our residents are very diverse in their beliefs and various faiths.  Episcopal Place welcomes ALL individuals regardless of race, religion, color, sex, familial status, national origin, or disability, or any other protected class including sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status.  

Our Chaplain is available to offer residents supportive services including prayer, visits, guidance, and a weekly Episcopal Eucharist.  Additionally, there are two Sunday worship services and prayer groups that residents may attend.

There are several local faith based organizations that provide financial support and volunteers for Episcopal Place.  Additionally, there are several worship centers near Episcopal Place as listed below.
